Make a family date of it and bring the kids.\n\nA bit about ILS: Starting with our very youngest learners\, we incorporate age-appropriate lessons in music\, art\, drama\, yoga\, and Spanish in our half-day preschool. As students progress to our Pre-K classroom just down the road on 8th and Market\, they continue their weekly music classes with Mr. Mike and can begin private piano lessons. They also enjoy weekly classes with ILS’s drama teacher\, Ms. Taylor. When they graduate they’re ready – socially and academically – to start Kindergarten\, with the confidence and critical thinking nurtured by a foundation in the arts.\n\nDon’t miss out on this chance to connect with the ILS community and discover the joy of learning through the arts! DESCRIPTION:This program provides a remarkable introduction to the world of music for Seattle’s emerging musicians and youngest enthusiasts of both music and movement. You can learn more and register here. \nILS’s 8-week Toddler Music and Movement class begins February 17th at 10am. This class will meet weekly on Saturdays through April 6th. Fee is $180 for the 8-week session\, or $24 for a drop-in session. \nILS co-founder Mike Piper\, brings over 30-years of experience teaching music to children. This class guides participants through echoing and sequencing\, rhythm and movement\, ear training\, and exploration of piano keys and instruments. This lively and upbeat class promises an engaging experience for both children and their caregivers\, creating an environment where young learners can delve into the joy of music with an experienced and enthusiastic instructor.
